AP (image 1) and frog leg view (image 2) of the pelvis performed in the same patient 6 years later shows a normal appearance of the femoral heads. On the earlier images, the patient had findings of Meyer dysplasia. Meyer dysplasia is considered normal developmental variation. Oftentimes, it affects only one femoral head. However, both femoral heads can be affected as in this patient. The "dysplasia" occurs as a result of multiple ossification centers. #FridayQuizDay #FridayQuiz
