#casetodonate Patient has Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS) and Macroglossia. This is the pts 2nd Tongue Reduction Surgery (TRS). The first was a keyhole technique (which you can see the scar in 3rd photo), it did not achieve desired outcome so a 2nd one was done using a "W" cut (anterior tongue reduction). These pics are during the 2nd TRS to achieve great results. #casetodonate

Pre- and post-operative views following tongue reduction surgery for macroglossia in a patient with BWS. Top panel shows patient at rest. The tongue is protruding and the mouth cannot be closed.
