Case Update
Update on 4 year old. Wounds are healing by using a medical honey scrub which seems to be working well. Child has had a negative blood culture for 4 days. Would anthrax show up on a C/S from the wound? The biopsy and wound culture were negative. The child is currently still taking Cephalexin for redness around the wound. I strongly doubt this is a brown recluse bite because he's a very talkative 4 year old that I would assume would've felt 2 bites and would've had symptoms. He's had zero pain or itching. So does anyone else have an idea what it could this be?
