2cm brown patch with irregular borders, asymmetry, and multiple shades of brown. Very concerning for melanoma. A biopsy was performed with a #15 blade. If you see a lesion concerning for melanoma, excisional biopsy or deep shave is required for path. Never take a partial sampling.

after using topical steroids and tarolimus , his mother said that there's brown patch started to re-pigment again !! as shown in second photo

how to deal with it ?


5 month old baby. Born with light brown macule on inner thigh. Mom noticed it getting suddenly darker as of 2 weeks ago. Took another photo this week and it does look darker though lighting is different. Measures approximately 4mm. Light brown with dark speckles. Borders have not been clear since birth. What are your thoughts?
