(case was not mine - posting for a colleague) 36M presented to ER w/ crushing chest pain which woke pt up; was feeling flushed and diaphoretic so pt decided to take a shower. Pt fell asleep for another 45min and awoken again with discomfort and diaphoresis. Took another shower when symptoms persisted therefore pt presented to ER. In ER pt stated to have similar fleeing symptoms 2 days ago. ØPMHx, Denies consuming any drugs. Ø stimulants. Ø smoking. Does not exercise but his work keeps him active and mobile. Ø recent stressors. VSS on exam but still had discomfort. What's the next step?
