What’s the diagnosis?

A 25 year old male presents with a two-day history of a rash on his inner thighs. There is mild discomfort but no itching or burning. He is sexually active with both males and females.

On examination there are multiple small, firm, shiny, round to oval papules and macules in groups on the inner thighs bilaterally just below the thigh crease. (Photos 1-2) They display a central white core surrounded by a pink halo and some lesions have peripheral scale. Photo 3 shows a magnification of one of the papules.

What is the diagnosis and how should it be treated?
