  1. Link to case Patient was started on scabies treatment topical. No change. She was given topical steroid for the lesions. Says the scabies tx improved it but after 3 days of tx the lesions became pruritic again. My thinking is it's either atopic dermatitis or a complicated case of scabies. Rare thing might be Reactive perforating collagenosis. Thoughts on DDx?

The patient presented with obvious sleep deprivation and appeared tormented. It affected only crural area and distal lower extremities. The patient was placed on #hydroxyzine and was cured after one application of #permethrin. The BIT for #scabies involves coloring the affected area with ink and immediately cleaning with alcohol. The ink seeps into the burrows and will not wipe away.
