Traffic Accident Victim
Patient Description
Patient, male, 52 years old, without illnesses. Victim of being run over 1 month ago, admitted to the ICU for 21 days for treatment of hemopneumothorax, lung contusions, and rib fractures. Currently at home, he has a 3x1.5cm ulcer on the right scapular region resulting from the accident, possibly caused by a stone pressed against the region during a run over. 4 days ago we started dressing with alginate with silver and hydrophilic foam. I have doubts about the whitish yellow fabric inside, could it be crumbling? Any suggestion? Thank you very much in advance.
Caso Resolvido
Details:
