Post-operative radiographs of the hip and left femur for a #pathologic #subtrochanteric fracture. The underlying pathology at surgical resection was a unicameral bone cyst (#UBC). If you look closely at the bone surrounding the fracture on initial presentation, there is a focal lucency and the cortex of the bone is subtly expanded. 🦴 Great discussion everyone!!
