7 year old female patient presented after reporting ingestion of a “cat” to parent. X-ray confirmed the presence of a Monopoly sized play piece obstructed in the oesophagus. Patient was placed on the OT list. Prior to OT a secondary X-ray was taken, where the piece had progressed past the oesophagus. Pt was discharged to allow the piece to pass at home.
