NP seeking answer for anxious patient

28 year old Caucasian male suffering from anxiety and panic attacks that have recently begun interfering with his ADLs. The cause is unknown. He will start to feel them when he is doing everyday activities mostly when he's driving. The symptoms he gets are shortness of breath, chest pain, and racing thoughts. He is on Paxil 10 mg daily for three weeks now and he continues to have the anxiety attacks. He is refusing to take any sort of benzo due to having an addictive personality. The Paxil has helped to lessen them but he continues to have the attacks. The patient does not drink alcohol, no drugs, no tobacco use, and avoids caffeine. Asking for further help on what can help this young man with his panic attacks during driving. Thank you.
