Lip Edema

Description:
Oder with lip swelling, 12 hours later small “blisters”, 1 week later red, raw skin peeling, painful, treated with magic mouthwash w/o relief. Only on lips, no other lesions noted in mouth, bucks surface or gums. Any idea what this is?

• 4 year kid with eruption and inflammation in his lower lip. First appeared with sudden fever but later there's no fever. He used micoñaź, farcosin, and gentadrrm with no recovery. What's your diagnosis and effective treatment?

• Male 29, shows up to the office with a sore on the lower lip. Sore cannot be seen with mouth closed only while open. There are no clusters present and it is localized. Patient indicates that he had dry lips and chewed on ice. When he placed the ice on his lip, the ice stuck to his lip. 2 days later the sore presented in the same place he got the ice stuck to his lip. Canker or cold sore?

• Update on SCC lip case. 4/7 post op. Large amount of exudate, 2nd suture down on lip has re-opened, obvious hole & infection. Pt is apyrexic but has slightly raised wbc's. What would you suggest as course of action? Will update later!

• 8 YOM, since two days having an itching little abrasion in his lateral inferior lip. It could be herpes? Or just an inflammation?

• Patient in late teens presenting after a collapse, no chest pain, no previous cardiac history, no history of sudden death in family, are there any features in this ekg that would warrant further work-up or is this just a pediatric ekg?
