# Pediatric bilateral knee pain after fall

Knee pain since 2 months after ground level fall. Unable to walk since the fall. Currently having bilateral knee limitation of extension due to pain (ROM 70-160 bilaterally). No sign of infection.

Male in his mid 20's fall from bike. Complaining of Lateral Knee pain, Externally rotated from hip but reports no pain other than in knee. FYI Knee Xray is crystal clear. Developed notable swelling to thigh approx. 2hrs post arrival at hospital.

18yo male with history of fall to his left knee 4 hours prior, with pain and swelling, more comfortable when knee is not bent. Initial management was to put a splint.
