10 years old boy comes with these skin lesions ,at both upper limbs, in the area around the elbow, no history of fever or other symptoms of infection.
He has done all the necessary vaccinations for his age, he does not receive any medication right now and no history of previous dermal infection. Any idea???](https://app.figure1.com/case-detail/0ef43b36-8aec-4755-99a7-777e5eddb6b4)

This 4-year-old from Montana has had this progressive lesion on his right arm for 4 months. Describes it as itchy but sometimes painful. No known bite nor other medical problems; treated with topical steroids without benefit. I would have leaned towards a fungal infection, especially given its progression on steroids, but the violaceous discolaration has me concerned. Any recommendations on possible diagnoses or recommended treatment?](https://app.figure1.com/case-detail/540f97e8-6843-4e60-9289-56f169988366)

Tinea infection… Interesting case because topicals will not work once this has spread into the area with hair follicles… you must use oral medications such as griseofulvin.](https://app.figure1.com/case-detail/709f4681-a986-45f2-ad7c-9cf886421549)

35 y.o. male with rash near groin and buttock fold that is not responding to OTC anti-fungal medication. I suspect it might be jock itch but not sure. No past medical history to report. Vitals are stable with patient denying fevers, chills or any other symptom. Patient is also not diabetic. He took these pictures of the affected area. Any thoughts on what might be going on. Patient states rash is very itchy, has these blisters and local area appears discolored.](https://app.figure1.com/case-detail/74c89dfe-f5da-459a-bcd2-0b825b469a83)
