7yo female, Hispanic, no health problems, and emmetropic OU. Patient was referred by Optometry for a retina evaluation, with a possible early optic disc melanocytoma OS. The 35° and 20° close ups are both OS. The 50° photo of the right eye is included for reference. We did not Dx optic disc melanocytoma and recommended observation with a follow-up at 6mo.
Does anyone know what the pigmentation on the optic nerve head is definitively?
