7 y/o with skin finding
7y/o healthy male with this lesion (hyperpigmented edges with central area of punctate telangiectasia and scales) that was first noticed approximately 8 months ago. Located in posterior portion of right thigh. No known history of trauma, injury, or insect bite. Aside from the cosmesis of the lesion, it is asymptomatic: not itchy, painful, and has stayed the same size.
Any thoughts on diagnosis?
Patient has been referred to pediatric dermatology.
