13-year-old male brought to ED by parents after complaining of facial pain. Patient says seven days ago he was shot in the face with a BB gun by a friend, but it didn’t start hurting until now. No visible puncture wounds. Palpable mass in cheek. X-ray showed that the bb may still be there. Given rx for antibiotics and orders to follow up with primary care doctor for further evaluation.
