Case Report: 2-Month-Old Patient with Erythematous Pustules

A 2-month-old patient has had erythematous pustules for 10 days on the trunk, arms, and legs.

The lesions are not involving the face. The mother sought an appointment on Friday and was prescribed cephalexin with improvement of the lesions. As of today, the appearance in the photo shows no new pustules. The mother denies fever, vomiting, or other symptoms.

Discussion

What do you think? I thought about pyoderma or eosinophilic pustulosis. How should we manage it? I also requested laboratory tests.
