EMS dispatched for a 62 y/o f on a fall. Upon arrival I found pt sitting on floor A&O 4/4, GCS 15, pain 0/10, diminished R pedal pulse. Pt presents with obvious deformity with open ankle fracture. Hx: Pt fell from standing height, twisting leg. Pt (+) intox and (+) blood thinners. Tx: Crew administered fentanyl on scene and stabilized leg with vacuum splint, pt moved with Reeves. (+) PMS throughout. No other deficits found. Pt brought to local level 3 trauma hospital, waiting for eval results. Pt was extremely compliant with crews, even moving affected leg, causing foot to shift & bleed.

A 52-year-old man presented with a 20-minute history of chest pain radiating to the left shoulder and neck, associated with dyspnea and diaphoresis. He had a history of hypertension, long-term smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle. On physical examination, bibasilar crackles were noted on lung auscultation. An electrocardiogram (ECG) was performed in the primary care setting, and the patient was promptly referred to the emergency department.
